* WINDS...South 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph turning Southwest
overnight.
* TIMING...Strong winds will continue this afternoon through late tonight
as a strong cold front moves through the Bay Area.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* The Bay Area and Central Coast of California
* Through late tonight
* A strong cold front will bring heavy rain this afternoon
through early Thursday morning. Urban and small stream
flooding will become likely along with rapid rises on main
stem rivers. Small creeks and streams may rapidly rise near or
above bankfull.
* Take action now to protect property by sand bagging flood
prone locations.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
